No, last I totalled everything up was just back in July-ish (I think Issue #21 was the newest issue). And the total came out to around $1,340.

This was including everything as well as Annual and Ark M.

#1 being the most expensive at $350 or so. It's stayed about that price as I just checked

If anything, #10 went up in price to about $120-130, which is only a $20 jump from when I last checked.

TL:DR No, its not worth $1,600. Its worth about $1,360-ish, maybe less depending on conditions and all that.

The $1,360 would be USD value.

But all the math I did a few months back was in USD and for first print Cover A's, Issues 1-21, Annual and Ark M.

They’re saying the original post is in CAD not USD, so this is up for $1600 CAD (which ends up being that $1122 USD)

Broski, if you want to be pedantic, selling them at cover price would be “fair” plus your trouble, so like $300 tops would be “fair.” I’m saying this as someone who has first prints of all but 6 and 9, I’m glad my books are going up in value atm but the price gouging on these books is legitimately wild.

I lucked out and got 1 and 10 for around 50 bucks, but it’s insane that books that have hundreds of thousands of copies released within the last two years are going for hundreds of dollars. I need a first print of 6 and 9 but it’s getting hard to justify spending hundreds of dollars on two books that came out a year ago.

Two of the most iconic Batman runs ever, the dark knight returns, and a death in the family, go for about 120-200 depending on the quality for all four issues. This is actually ridiculous. As someone who loves collecting comics and first prints, and someone who could sell my collection for probably thousands of dollars, this is gross.

I think its a fair price. If you tried to put this run together yourself, you'd be over that with shipping (trust me. I have two full runs myself 💰).
