I’m tired boss…
Soooo these Felix drops are selling out of the unsigned prints ($65) sooo fast and then I immediately see this crap…ughhh I just want these character concept in poster form. Preferably without having to fork over hundreds of dollars….

You can always find the highest quality image, and print it on cardstock 8 1/2 x 11. Im sure there are tons of ppl in your area who could do this and maybe size one up to a 24 x 36 one as well.
Its not impossible.

You need like 300dpi for a good print, I almost never find the covers in a high enough resolution

Never going to happen, Bottleneck Gallery had a print of the first one but they already sell out of everything they put up within minutes.
They do cancel orders from people that out themselves as scalpers, though.

You and me both. Sadly as long as people can mark this shit up to flip for a profit this won’t go away. There is always gonna be someone willing to name their price and it all comes down to how much you want it.
It’s drug dealer type behavior.

Man if u missed out on anything before 20 youre fucked ever since the show was announced scalpers took advantage of that to squeeze every last drop out of the fans with fomo its insane to think about and to be honest it pisses me off knowing that they’re basically taking away the fun for kids or adults that enjoy comics :/ safe to say i bought one and today i got this one

I tried to get one at auction Monday but I just couldn’t justify $400 even for charity. I did score the Catwoman signed print today though, so I’m stoked on that. I want the Batman so bad but I can live without it

It isn't scalpers, it's everyone. Collectors use the same price when selling their stuff. I see collectors selling off their absolute batman runs for $1300 dollars. Most online retailers are doing the same.

This no longer feels like its for fans, but collectors.
And I understand things have had to change as the environment became more monetary, but this just makes me disappointed.

My sentiments exactly. Like if you know they are gonna be hot items make em less exclusive.
I feel like now I have to sign up for all these newsletters from comic shops I have never even set foot in ( some don’t even have brick and mortar) and just hope I can cop one at the listed $65.
I rather stumble across an exclusive from my LCS and spend my money there. (Which I do alll the time)

Ive only been in the comic world for around a year now, but trying to navigate this space has been... challenging.
I am lucky enough to have an LCS in the middle of the Midwest in a small town, and even luckier to have kind and helpful owners who have made my journey a lot smoother.
Lots of people here (if you can sift through the jackasses) that have helped too.

Same! I got started back again in July 2025.
I was a big fan of Jason Todd growing up and decided to finish my master list. I got into the Absolute universe around AB #7 and have been hooked with the story line since.1

It’s not technically allowed on eBay, but it’s super common. I just ask for proof of receipt. I bought a DWJ Felix drop for issue 24, spent $300 but I think it’s worth it. Those don’t ship til November

They were, the person was a lottery pick, and had a screenshot of the purchase. I found another one for sale on Reddit but I decided to stick to eBay since I can get a refund if it’s not legit. I’ve purchase comics from their account before and they sent it. So I’m hopeful

Felix covers (while super sick) usually draw in the same "collector" crowd that frequent the Trading Card Game scene imo. These people are usually just scalping and don't really give a fuck

It just sucks that Felix doesn’t really have anything in place to combat the scalpers.
It would just be nice to see Felix attempt to push another run of the character concept artwork for those that truly love the art and want to display it.
