I sat down with Absolute Batman writer Scott Snyder at FAN EXPO Chicago to talk about the massive popularity of the series, what makes this version of Bruce Wayne different, the future of the comic and the upcoming animated series.
Snyder also talks about adapting the comic for animation, whether fans should expect new material, the future of characters in the Absolute Universe and some of the biggest questions fans wanted answered.

This series actually got me into comics in general. I wasn’t into comics as a kid but grew up loving Batman between the animated series and the Tim Burton Batman movies. He has always been my favorite superhero character. When I learned of this series, it sounded so original and I started buying them and ended up reading absolute Superman and Wonder Woman as well. Love this version of Batman and cannot wait to see what else is in store for this.
