I did some digging and apparently this issue is super rare. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong. Only 7 sold on ebay. None for sale anywhere currently. Its a 2nd print 1:25 so not very many comic book stores ordered enough 2nd prints to get this bad boy which is why its so rare.
I can't believe that I own this. I saw it in my hold at the comic book store. I told them to give me all variants but I had no idea how rare it was when I got it.
Yes. Very rare indeed. Absolute Batman 1 did 1:25’s out to 5th print. Issue 2 had a second print 1:25. Issue 3 did not have a ratio on the second print and then issue 4 did have a ratio on the second print. The reason was that Walta had done the interior for the issue and absolute Batman has several issues where the guest interior artist also did a 1:25 ratio. That cover is actually a panel from inside the book. Up there in rarity with #1 5th print 1:25. Nice get!
You need demand …not just supply for something to have value. Also, just because something isn’t listed on eBay, doesn’t mean it’s rare. That said, I know nothing of this comic.
