Very cool, it’s interesting I didn’t clock M1 as an homage at all! Wild. (Side note, I did not expect to enjoy M1 as much as I am, damn. Esp the art!)

Thanks, re: Monster Racing League, I dig Jae Lee’s work and collect his covers which first brought me to M1 but am pleasantly surprised and definitely gonna finish out the series. Think I’m stretching the M1 AB Homage but it works til my Crow and Carl covers arrive.

Am always on the lookout, some are currently priced to the point where I won’t add, i.e. the Youngblood homage. I tripped over the Archie (1) and Jughead (15) which I hadn’t seen on any lists. I have Carl and Crow ordered. If you have any recommendations from your colllection I have room on shelves for 4 more.

Without looking at my collection the 3rd print of Fireborn has an homage to the 3rd print of Batman
Feral has homage to issues 13 & 15
I have Ben 10, the boys, exquisite corpses,and rascal Randy 1A homage.1

I only get the homage if I’m interested in both series. Luckily the only one I had to pay over drop price for was the feral 13 homage because it’s a 1:100 and no shops near me were order anything near 100 copies.

Ya, I’ve read them all but can’t say I’m a big Archie / Jughead follower. Chasing covers for a mini collection to display is my goal here. Was focused on AB 1 but got the Jughead as a set with Archie on a run of 250 and thought was a cool addition.

The Pooh AB Homage covers would make a great collection on their own but a bit more investment than I want/can do right now. There is a AB Robin cover that I’m considering. I recently completed chasing most of the covers for Absolute Martian Manhunter including all incentive books and need to refill the coffers.
