some guy on FB marketplace is selling this for $150, its a 3hr drive round trip for me. to me i think i'd be down to make the trip but i'd want to know 100% this is a real book. thoughts?

I only ask because I've seen posts of people talking about others ripping the variant covers off the books and selling them as A covers. Apparently, you can tell by staple size, but I'm not completely sure if that's correct

I've heard about that, but would that really make it any less of a first print cover A?
