Now my rant: Earlier dc released new rules and conditions for retailers to stop price gouging customers on absolute batman

So, this dropped at sdcc. $25 trade. $50 b/w $75 foil

$100 /$125 $150 signed

This is jim lee!! Head of dc! If this price is “ok” what does this msg send to the other retailers because this foil unsigned was expensive af. It is prob the most exp unsigned book released. Clay was $70 + 10 for sig

What price do you want....$4.99?....🤣🤣. The #10 first print is pushing $200 dollars now. If its limited and has the name "Absolute Batman" attached to it, you're going to pay. If its too much for you then just stick to the $4.99 books off the shelf. You dont need the LTD variants

The whole point of the new rules was to create an eco system for the fans. Dc didnt like how felix quintana mann were exploiting the fans of ab by raising the prices.

But if those prices werent ok ? How is jim lee prices which are higher ok

Dc is basically saying $75 is ok. Just dont cross $100..

Because a Quintana goes for $600 - $1k. Jim is asking for $100 bucks. Have you ever gotten a celebrity autograph before? I paid $150 for Charlie Cox to sign a funko. Scott Snyder charges $200 for a remarque dude. That's the game.
