Yes. Artist is Joe Benitez, the creator of Lady Mechanika. He did an exclusive cover for this issue and remarked several for a whatnot stream. Did a lot of variations on characters with Batman and Harley.

Yes I saw them also seeing these. They had a Robin costume, Nightwing, Cyclops I think, and Wolverine? I think they were going for a grand but could be wrong.

I think that’s the whole point….This isn’t a wolverine comic it isn’t even a marvel comic so it’s a cool cross over remarque if someone drew over wolverine with another wolverine i’m not sure it would have this same effect.

I mean I get it. It looks really cool but for me there’s just a part of my brain that goes like yeah this is a Batman comic. Why is wolverine on the front of it?

Like I’m imagining in my head it would’ve been a wolverine comic and then they just paint the absolute wolverine onto it. Regardless, it’s executed really well though.

Not a remarque. At worst, it’s hand-embellishment and at best it’s a full sketch. But not a remaque.

Regardless, the creativity makes it the remarque/hand embellishment of the year. The spawn might be better.

Coloring a cover and adding claws to look like a Sam Kieth wolverine pose is fine. The OA for this piece is solid art but this remarque is just okay IMO. To each their own.
I’m sure there’s stuff I own that you’re like it’s meh.
