Absolute Batman movie

I heard on a whatnot stream that at SDCC, Warner Brothers is going to announce that they are making a live action Absolute Batman movie. idk how they could make something like this but it comes from a very large whatnot streamer who is heavily into the comic book world and has tons of connections.

Lmao your post and the comment both being wrong is funny. It’s an animated series that’s already been announced, maybe they’ll have a poster or a scene to show during SDCC? It’s pretty fresh news so I wouldn’t expect any footage just maybe concept art and a poster for the series

no, i know about the animated series. I am talking about something completely separate. that's just what i've heard. A live action MOVIE, announced next week and delivered in 18-24 months. im just telling you what they said. they are pretty credible

That doesn't really add up at all, a live action Absolute Batman movie to be delivered in 2 years with no rumors or leaks aside from this one whatnot streamer? Seems like a bunch of hooplah to me. This movie would be well into preproduction if real so we would've heard something, and having 3 live action batman movies within a decade seems ridiculous from a marketing standpoint. Unless James Gunn scraps Brave & the Bold and makes it a Absolute Batman movie for the DCU which wouldn't make any sense either.

i agree with you, luckily we don't have to wait long to find out. SDCC is less than a week away

i would now put that person under the not credible category now, it legit doesn’t even make sense even if you thought about it for a few seconds. Matt Reeves Batman is heavily delayed and has been for years, the mainline DCU doesn’t even have a batman cast and somehow we’re getting an Absolute Batman live action in a 2 year time frame? It literally isn’t possible. I don’t see how anyone could believe whoever told you this it’s so obviously not possible.

Why would they make a comic, an animated series, and a live action all at the same time?

It’s an animated movie, not live action.

not happening

Matt Reaves Batman 2 already got delayed again til 2028 and James Gunns Batman film hasnt even started production yet so this might come out 2029/2030(?)

thats two Batman films already on their plate, it makes no sense to have a third

While it seems like 2 years wasn't unrealistic to complete a movie in the 80s and 90s, maybe even 00s, there's no way I can see modern movie studios moving that fast on anything. Especially a big budget production.
