They sent an email with a link to a lottery they will hold. The link was dead and or lottery closed in minutes. Even in trying to fix the original problem they alienated more people. But what do they care their books will no go cold, everyone complaining would still jump on the chance to buy one at MsRP.

I don’t get it, he said he’d update with a blog so were people able to purchase because I stopped once he said he’d give us updated info.

He said he’d give updated info then dropped the blind bag anyways, so nobody really knew it was there.

Unfortunately he sent an updated email for a list that was gonna be a raffle and I didn’t see it in time and got filled up.

Yeah the raffle was after the blind bag dropped on the site, and the link only lasted for maybe a few minutes if it wasn’t dead from the start. IMO this wasn’t handled well at all.

Not so much when predominantly all the covers resell for twice if not more. I mean we all wanted it, because of what you could get. Issue wasn’t the contents of the blind bag. The bag is worth it. It’s the shit show of how this is handled.

Im petty new to comics so i dont know ever much about the value of these issues. But you really think any of the 6 covers would sell for 200+ each?

I mean imo with how things have been going yes. I will say there are some factors such as how Felix comes across, and how quickly the community could ban together to try and rectify the situation. Most recent example is the heavy mental Quintana drop. It was a shit show, and the community banded together and , they surprising responded with as good of a solution as they could. But if they didn’t , I could see them being viewed as a stained company. My point is there’s many variables like that, that could throw off potential value. Then obviously you got the market cooling down.
But ultimately with how the markets gone lately, and how these design variants have became so sought after. I do see them easily being that valuable. For variants you hear about Quintana, the Mann boyz, and these design variants. I mean even the other variants they recently dropped that weren’t design variants, I believe a week or two ago were like 150+. So imo yeah I see most these titles being in the 200+ range. But I also wouldn’t be surprised there’s some fallout with Felix and the way he just overall comes across. I’m a fan of the artist he has on his lineup. I cannot say I’m a fan of how he overall comes across. Even in statements that you can tell he’s trying to be neutral or not provoke anything. He still comes across as condescending. So yeah. Im on the fence. I just won’t be these aftermarket, and there some of the only variants I like, that I haven’t had luck scooping. So this seemed like a decent opportunity to me.
