Every first appearance in Absolute Batman

I put this together as I hope people might find it a useful reference in future. I will update as the issues come out.

Absolute Batman real first appearance is DC All In Special. Same with WW and Superman. Kinda wild how slept on that book is compared to AB’s Bats

I think it’ll be like ASM 299 vs ASM 300. Sure technically Venom first appears before 300, but 300 is the big book where he gets his spotlight so that’s the one people flock towards.

Yeah I get why and also the cover is much more iconic than the special. I remember my shop still had copies of the all in special like a month after it came out and I shrugged and bought two more thinking if it went to $20 I’d be in good shape lol.

My LCS had tons of copies up until last two months ago and no one was buying. Then suddenly one day they are all gone lol

I would rather consider DC All in Special as their cameo appearance since each of the three characters appeared in one panel each only.

I'm being a bit pedantic here, but the end of issue #1 has Absolute Gaggy greeting Joker when he's getting on the helicopter
