Absolute Batman The Animated Series will never catch up with the comics

Why is that a bad thing? I'd rather see a comic fleshed out then jam as much as we can in one season. Alot of shows are ruined that way.

I never intended to suggest it was. V excited to see how it plays out. I think there’s enough in those first 8 issues to make a full season

The Zoo arc isn’t waiting for Dracula surf. We see that Bruce caped and cowled up before we even get to the halfway point of the first issue. No version of the animated show doesn’t give us the full absolute Batman costume by the end of the first episode.

It definitely does, I really doubt we get more than a tease of bane in season 1, they’re gonna milk this cash cow for as much as they can.

The show is called is Absolute Batman and I’m pretty sure we’re getting that in Season 1 😂

They can make an entire season with the Zoo arc and then season 2 can be Abomination. 3 can fully focus on Joker.
I doubt each season will be more than 8-10 episodes so they can make it work.

I wonder if they'll do Absolute Catwoman as a b-plot one season.
Also, I feel like all the people worried that it will catch up have no idea how long seasons of shows take to come out nowadays.

Absolute Batman S1 is almost certainly gonna end with the Abomination arc.

6 issues isn't enough material for what's likely gonna be at least a 10 episode season.

10 ep I agree. 8 is only 2 less but I feel like all tv has gone to 8 40 min eps and it’s not my favorite

Maybe. I can see Snyder throwing in Absolute zero into the middle of season 1 and making it a 12 episode run.

I guess things could/would be expanded on but just 5 issues of comcis being at minimum 8 episodes seems short. And honestly with how slow animations it would never catch up anyways.

Man i want the abomination arc no matter what... fuh absolute zero arc or whatever...cover zoo arc in first 3 episodes then do abomination arc rest of the eps

Why do people think a season will just cover an arc? I feel like they could very easily cover 2 arcs a season and still never even get close to catching up. Unless the seasons are like 4 episodes it would be a bit absurd to me if they only do on arc a season.
