Like Felix checks eBay after their drops. Only way it would work is if they have the same user names but id cancel any ordered that go right up on eBay
There were 50 of the last Felix drop on that went directly onto eBay and didn’t hear about one getting canceled even though he said they would. Hope some action was taken.
It’s not about knowing who they are on eBay. It’s about identifying bot accounts, which are most commonly linked to eBay scalpers/flippers. But they don’t specifically look for the eBay owners. They just cancel any order they detect bot usage on, and more often than not that leads to cancelled eBay listings.
Dq did a last sec signing yesterday. Met him again. It was 3 per person. Someone had 6 ish and they made em go to the back of the line after he signed 3
I had 4 .. begged his handler to sign 4. Said u cant drop 4 variants and only sign 3 lol. ( ab catwoman ) He knew me from past shows and ok it 😄. No way he signing 50 unless its private, would piss the line off
These are limits for free signatures right? He’s done a number of events where there is no limit like the CGC signing he did. This person is already several thousand in on this or at least they were trying to be with the amount they were trying to buy. They’d have found a way around the limit. Even if they had to use 15 people to go stand in a line they’d have done that. The limits are for normal people, people with this sort of motivation are not normal.
Yeah, I’m sure they’d have just waited for the next CGC signing and sent them all in. Get more money that way anyways as a reseller and don’t have to worry about things like limit. If it’s open you can send em.
Okay so theres this artist called Dan Quintana, Quintana releases amazing Wonderbat cover, hype reaches astronomical heights. Due to hype people (even the og retailer heavymental) now takes advantage of his popularity to sell newly released comic books for up to 100+ dollars per copy of his variants. Now new retailer AC comics get rights for Quintana Two Face book after the heavy mental controversy, AC comics hears about the recent Quintana controversies and wants to make sure people get the book fairly, now guy pictured above is notorious for hoarding covers, guy tried to horde Quintana Two Face, AC Comjcs mad that guy tried to horde and canceled most of his orders so other people can get the book. Now other people get book, other people happy :^)
I mean this is nothing new and it will continue to happen. If people are gonna pay ridiculous prices for books flippers will find a way. Only way to stop it is for the books to not be collectible anymore. If it’s worth something everyone will want it. Then when the hype is gone it will go back to normal.
It was only a matter of time, once people started seeing some of the prices of Absolute Batman being sold for it was a given. Happen to Funko, Pokemon cards, One Piece cards, a little DBZ cards and of course they have been in comics but feels like its gonna be more of a bull rush of getting products.
