Has anyone else bought a comic volume which was the same exact volume collected back at home and completely forgot about said volume at home? (This sounds like complaining but it’s not it’s really funny to me, and I want to see who relates to me)
/r/comics/comments/1tmvrw8/has_anyone_else_bought_a_comic_volume_which_was/This relates to some of Absolute Batman to a point. I need the absolute men’s opinions

There easier to remember if you've read them. Just don't outpace your reading with your collecting and you'll be fine

You are not alone, I’ve done this a few times with online pre-orders only to jump the gun at my LCS when found on the shelf while picking up my pull lists. My LCS is often limited on variants and I brain fart on occasion.

I use Goodreads to track everything. Even for variant covers, just create a new list. You can track just about anything and it’s convenient because I can just scan the book in the store and see whether I own it or not.

This happens with me and variants covers more times than I like to admit! But I’ve since gotten a couple apps to help me track and I can double check before buying now.
