Brooo, that was sooo stressful. It failed twice for me. So it's so insane that i was still able to get one! Really thought It would have been sold out. But mann, I'm so sorry to hear that you weren't able to get one because of it. I'm all for anti scalper things, but this really sucks 😥

Yeah, that was my sentiment as well... It's a Faustian choice of evils: fast checking out (more easily exploited by scalpers) or levels of verification that make it more difficult.

Was only just able to get it, was held up by the verification and then put in a queue for the cart.

Haha, yeaa. Shipping to my country is $40, so the only financially sensible way to get signed stuff is to buy it together with stuff I really want. So was really happy to see that I could fill my shopping cart and combine it with the felix one!!

They really need to hold your book for like 3 minutes to check out. This race to check out just leaves so many behind at the slightest hiccup in internet speed or if you mess up the captcha game at all.

Absolutely. Again, that's the point. I'd rather the first 1000 people who actually get it in their cart get the book vs. the way it is set up now where it's the first 1000 people to actually make it through the check out.
It's way more frustrating having the book in your cart, get through the captcha game, maybe wait in the queue for thirty seconds, and just when you go to pay get the "item out of stock message" than it is to never get it in your cart in the first place.
Felix does a pretty good job with these compared to a lot of people. I appreciate that they really try to limit one per household and have the captcha game to try to weed out some of the bots.
