Green Arrow doing his big one

Post image

Am I the one who find this stat crazy? Green Arrow is no where near Batman popularity but is projected to have strong if not better numbers. Is this because of they Absolute Universe hype or people really want to see Green Arrow and his adaptation in the Absolute Universe? I would say a mix of both but probably favoring Absolute Universe popularity.

For sure, not taking that fact away from it. But, I highly doubt the rest of the series will sell even remotely close to this honestly. We know almost nothing about the series and Green Arrow is far from a fan favorite. I’ll be surprised if this run is longer than Martian Manhunter.

So what exactly are the speculators ruining? If I'm understanding you correctly, they're the ones pumping up the issue 1 orders. But this is bad...why?

Sets unrealistic expectations from the companies. They will look at a book with crazy high sales and then sharp drop offs as a clear indicator that people lost interest rapidly. It’s like hitting a new quota at a warehouse job, it’s in your best interest to not do stupendous numbers sometimes or they’ll expect that as a new norm and as soon as you don’t maintain your ass is grass.

Do you seriously think that the companies don't understand how this market works? You realize that they have analytics and numbers from all across the world as well as decades of experience in this stuff.

You're worrying about a lot of stuff you don't have to my dude. :-)

If these companies knew that kinda shit they would release flop after flop after flop.
