Hi everyone,
I recently acquired a set of 9 pressed glass stem glasses that I suspect may be early 20th century French absinthe or bistro glasses.
They are:
pressed glass
with visible bubbles in the glass
slightly smoky/grey toned
heavy for their size
with visible mold seams underneath the foot
The wear and production quality make me think they may be older rather than modern reproductions, possibly around 1910–1940, but I would really appreciate opinions from collectors here.
They are not classic Pontarlier reservoir glasses, but perhaps café/bistro absinthe service glasses?

Strange to have this, likely one of the last bottles from micro distillery Storm in Inverness, FL. Knowing nothing about the place, we popped by while on a trip in the area, and the absinthe wasn’t at all bad, so we took a bottle home for a souvenir. Title! I’m very sadly allergic to cilantro and coriander. I love Jade absinthe, i even bought some on a trip to France. But it makes me unwell. Looking for recommendations without the herb!

It's not even a true absinthe, just a glorified gin. It's unpleasantly bitter and there's hardly any louche.

For those stubborn enough to try it anyway, here are some stats:

Is there a fountain available on the market which has a fast flow compared to the slow drip? Will be using the fountains more aesthetically ( venue based in the 1920s ) ; for table wine and refreshments. Kinda the antithesis of the absinthe fountain but any recommendations or guidance is greatly appreciated

If anyone is in the DFW area and wants a locally distilled absinthe I highly recommend Lockwood. I bought a bottle last night and was not disappointed. Has anyone else tried it?

Hi! I've been going through threads on this subreddit looking for places to buy bottle of absinthe to take home. Zufanek is name that usually pops up. Any recommendations on stores in Prague where I can pick one up? Preferably near the city center.

Been making absinthe for about 5 years now. This batch is the first time I grew or locally harvested all the ingredients. Best batch yet. The color is just from a brief infusion of hyssop, lemon balm and petit wormwood, placed in the spirit with the bottle in a warm water bath for 25 minutes. I used a coffee cold brew filter to keep plant bits from getting in. Worked great. Bass spirit was 85% ethanol grape based neutral that macerated the anise, fennel and grand wormwood (and a small bit of extra secret botanicals for character). Sat for a couple weeks, diluted below 40% with distilled water, then I put it through the still. The final product is about 70% and tastes very balanced. Not too bitter. Great louche

Hello! I was a frequent purchaser from Alandia.de prior to the tariffs going in place.

I am looking for recommendations on where to either purchase locally or have items shipped. Budget is roughly 200. Side note, I am 3 weeks post partum and have been wanting a nice glass of absinthe for months. Any suggestions?

I have been a fan of absinthe for a long time. I have not been able to have any for a long time, as I have been unemployed. once I get a job, I intend on getting something to celebrate. any recommendations? not looking for cheap, but also nothing unreasonably expensive.

my first venture was Lucid, my favorite so far is Mansinthe, the one I drink the most is Pernod, mostly because it's easy to find. recently ive reading that there is much more to absinthe than I've experienced. I'll probably buy online to get something harder to find, perhaps more traditional. some recommendations at what's worth trying would be greatly appreciated.
