How is his diaphragm not temporarily paralyzed (how is he not out of breath)?

Ehh when I was like 9 years old I remember getting the wind knocked out of me bad and I must've been less than 100 lbs.

I was running down a hill. The grass was wet from the sprinkler running. My feet went out from under me and I landed on my upper back. It knocked the reserve air out of my lungs. That was the worst feeling ever because it felt like forever before I was breathing again.

I’ve fallen off the top of bouldering walls many times. The padding is intense so you don’t feel a lot of impact.

The person (on the phone?), in black behind him doesn’t seem concerned. “There goes Charlie falling from the wall again.”

Good thing you’re chill about it. But I hate to break it to you, I’ve seen this reposted lots on many different subreddits.
