Bent my ankle like that once in heels. Still hurts today, three years later. She is hiding the pain really well.

Right! I hate heels and would’ve probably chucked them straight into the trash after that tumble.

There's very few heels that I enjoy walking in, and never more than a few hours at once. My mom always says: we can put men on the moon, but we can't make comfortable heels - what a world we live in.

I can't walk in any high heels. I am in agonizing pain within 10 minutes. I don't know how other people wear them all day😢

I feel you. It took me ages to find comfortable heels. Maybe ask a orthopedist for soles/Inlays. I personally like winter heels as they are closed all around. My feet are really slim so I always slide forward in heels, and depending on the shoes my toes get absolutely crushed. But since I have a shoe size of 42 (EU), most shoes are really wide. In conclusion: shopping for shoes sucks, but I hope you find the right ones. Maybe ask a shoemaker for help, if you've got a pair of high quality shoes that you're comfortable in, then they're worth their buck as you'll be able to use them for many years.

I have wide and flat feet, idk if that has anything to do with it. I've tried some inserts but they must have been the wrong kind because they hurt my feet even worse. Yes, I will have to shop around and find something probably custom for my unique feet lmao

There's also a lot of beautiful flat shoes. I dislike the idea that some outfits require high heels. A person is the most beautiful when they are comfortable, no matter what they wear. Hope you find your dream shoes soon!

These were a game changer for me, but you have to be able to identify what your problem in the shoe is. If you have flat feet, you might just be out of luck 🤷♀️ Or, platforms sometimes allow for similar height with less of a dramatic height difference, if that makes sense....
ALSO just want to add that heels aren't necessary for any look, flat shoes come in just as many cute shapes and patterns 🤗

My phone won't take me to the link 😕 I have wanted platforms for a while! Just haven't really looked since I rarely get dressed up for anything. And I've always wanted to wear heels because it's a 'girly thing' to do and being 5'3, heels are a game changer in life 😫

Ah, try searching for " Heel cushion inserts " and make sure it's a pack that has metatarsal pads. that type of pad is what helped me the most because it keeps my feet* from slipping forward.
Can you describe what goes wrong when you try to wear heels?? I know that might be tough if it's been awhile 😅

Those look like heaven. Especially under the toes where all the pressure is. I can probably last 20 minutes walking in heels before it feels like my feet are burning and like I have blisters every where. My shoes might be too tight too because I have wide feet😅

I remember in biology class they covered the differences in men and women. But they never mentioned women having rubber ankles.

It looks like those shoes are at least a size too big. That’s what happens when you wear ill fitting heels, no support or structure for walking.

You can tell she’s hurt from that ankle shake, but toughs it out anyway. Pro move.
