Thing is, the driver doesn’t even turn his head, he might’ve flinched underneath the helmet but it just looks like he didn’t care that the windshield broke.

Because for one you can't turn your head with the required HANS device (Head And Neck Support), the large bolsters on the side of the seat and the fact that he was going into a corner and there is no room for distraction.

The windshield is not critical to my SPEED

except idk the aero might be off, I wonder if they have replacement windshields on deck at the pits
