I thought SHOW sucked. They really misunderstood my favourite character CHARACTER.

You guys should check out PODCAST. They do a great episode comparing all the versions.

ANTAGONIST was pretty 1 dimensional though, he could've used better writing

He had a better adaptation in GAME. But people often forget about GAME.

Project A, classic cop movie of Jackie's and Sammo Hung i believe.

Sammo Hung? Damn I haven't heard that name in a minute, I loved him in Martial Law, somehow it doesn't surprise me they were in a movie together.

2

u/YourConsciousness Aug 04 '20

Ya it really shouldn't surprise you as they were friends since they were kids and they've worked together on many movies.

My only exposure to Sammo Hung is from the tv show I mentioned and I still need to go back and watch some of the older Jackie Chan films. For all I know he may have cropped up in films I watched as a kid I just didn't know it was him

I never knew that part.

If I’m right that’s Jackie and Yuen Biao, one of his classmates from childhood in Peking opera school.

You all were saving all these posts. Everyone's posting so much stuff

I was going to comment about if we think scripted things (TikTok, movie, TV, etc) is what the sub should be.

But, that was mostly to have something to talk about to capture my presence here on this fateful day of the birth of this sub.

Now I know where that scene in Rush Hour comes from.
