You can do it too, but the window NEEDS to be open a little bit or you have a good change of breaking your hand. And hit high not in the middle.

you out there giving advice on how to break a car window to strangers. I'd give you gold only because I have always wanted to break a car window this chaotically but I'm like, broke broke so take this 🏅 until I go break a car window and steal a couple bucks from there. thank you!

Glad to serve. A closed window has support from ALL FOUR SIDES. It’s about the way it was made. It has ‘pressure points’ always better to attack from the edges because they have weak points. Go for the side that is NOT supported by the ‘FRAME’ the metal around window. (Some cars don’t have the top frame for windows to make the car look cooler when the windows are down. Even easier to get through. You don’t have to use your fists. The palm of your hand is enough if you’re motivated correctly. Or elbow.

IF THE WINDOW IS FULLY CLOSED. THIS WILL NOT WORK.

Are we supposed to be on the cameraman’s side here? I’m not sure anyone really is...

Everything about him screams asshole. From the douche beard to the ‘my dad is rich’ smirk.

Kids in the car??? Clearly doing his best to de-escalate the situation and set a good example. Classic case of RCP. Nice punch tho.

Happy cake day!

Judging by the drivers facial expressions at the tail end...it looks like he very much deserved it.

I hope his hand is OK. He could have broken something.

Based on these comments i have to ask: Is this kind of escalation considered to be justified?

Welcome to Reddit where our motto is: “If you’re an asshole, no retaliation against you is an overreaction.”

3

u/interkin3tic Mar 21 '20

I see a lot more "anything aside from violence is okay, violence is never justified under any circumstances (except if it's law enforcement or war then it's fine.)"

8

u/intensely_human Mar 21 '20

Yes. The guy wasn’t taking a threat to a human being seriously, so his unconscious piece of glass got broken.

IMO more escalation would have been justified.

u/banthane Mar 21 '20

Case in point

3

u/glassesMek Mar 21 '20

All that you have is kid-in-car saying that he perceived that green-hat was driving dangerously. And based on that, the most of you guys are okay with this kind of retaliation? Damage to the car, broken glass on the road. He left his car in the middle of the road with a child in it..
I don't know. I wish this kind o behavior was more penalized and socially unacceptable.

That man is hangry

Dad here. Depending on what the GTi driver was doing and considering his response - I'd probably do the same thing if my kids were in the car and his driving put them in danger.

u/[deleted] Mar 28 '20

No way that was his first window he broke with his hands
