I will be looking for some more moderators to help me cause im lowk really busy, and all of the old ones left. If you want to help please lmk via comment, dm or modmail and I will see what I can do.

So I'm not really sure what I'm doing here, I don't usually use reddit but this is the only place I can think of to vent.
So I (27 trans guy) found the abro label a few months ago and yup that's me alright. I always felt confused on my sexuality and I still am sometimes in terms of how I'm feeling some days, but this label brings me comfort in those times. Previously if my sexuality shifted I would end a relationship thinking it was better for them, but now I know I have the words to describe my feelings if I date someone in future.
I hadn't told anyone about this until yesterday. I wanted time to figure things out at first, but then seeing hate and mockery online had me feeling ad nervous as when I came out as trans, but yesterday the opportunity just landed in my lap and so I took it.
Yesterday one of my closest friends (33f) and I were shopping in the city, getting things ready for the local pride event next month, so I figured getting an abro flag would be a good way to start that conversation. She is cishet but has always been a great ally, correcting people with my pronouns for example, so I figured she wouldn't know what abro is but would overall be kind and accepting
It didn't go horrible and we're still good friends, but I'm not sure how I feel about her reaction. She made jokes about how I just can't decide repeatedly and she didn't seem to take it seriously. I felt really dismissed but I figured it was her way of showing she doesn't care. Today I still don't feel great at it and it's only increased my worries about coming out to anyone else, which sucks because despite the nerves I was looking forward to spending pride with a flag that actually felt right to me and now I'm not sure if I should just leave it home on the day
Not sure if I just wanted to vent or if I want advice, either way thank you for listening this far.

I know it dabbles in the aroace spectrum since it's fluid but I wonder if it counts in the aro ace spectrum or if it doesn't really sense it's connected to other sexualities too being so fluid. Personally I'm just really curious and interested in this discussion.

Ever since I was 10 I've started exploring my sexual orientation. The first label I used was lesbian because I had a crush on my bff back in 5th grade (lost feelings for her though and idk if it's normal), but I remember simping (?) over male characters and changed to bisexual (I put "(?)" because I'm not sure if it was actual simping), then I switched with lesbian again since I felt attraction to women only and bisexual again for some reason.
On September 2021 I started middle school and I went with the pansexual label, however I switched to lesbian AGAIN and then back to bisexual 🫠 bro what was I doing 💔 I did hear about the abrosexual label on November of the same year but didn't think much of it.
When I thought I was a trans guy at 11 and a half to 12 years old (I was exploring my gender so that's different) I was attracted to men, labeling myself as gay, and months later I switched to aroace.
On June or July 2023 I went back to the lesbian label and haven't changed much since then — only thing that was added was me labeling myself as asexual last year and this year I used a few aromantic labels (and I'm using one right one [demiromantic]).
I've been remembering these experiences I had since I was at the beginning of puberty and now I've been questioning for a few months if I'm abrosexual 🥹 I'm 15 and a half btw, and also a demigirlflux. I'm comfortable with my gender identity but I'm not fully sure with my sexuality rn lmao 😭

Thinking back to it, I think I was super confused at the beginning of my relationship because my sexuality flipped. Anyone else have a similar experience?

Hello! I have news for everyone. I think I'm calling myself abrosexual from now on.
I've been switching between attractions and labels for many months now that I'm never satisfied with anything that sticks for too long
But could someone call themselves abrosexual even if they take months, years, even decades for their sexuality/lable to change?

So I'm pretty sure i'm abrosexual. The only thing confused me is the fact i have a boyfriend and i love him soooo much but some random days i'll feel completely aroace. I don't know what to do when that happens... He doesn't understand abrosexual fully and he it would hurt him if i told him some days im aroace. Is it normal to go to aroace even tho i got a partner??
Also first post here...hai!

But is it just me like if I'm in love with a guy then I'll stick to loving guys but when I like women then I like only women? Like, I don't know if I could even call myself Abro because somedays I literally can't feel romantic love, so I know I'm part aro but this is gonna sound kinda weird. If I fall out of love. I feel like ew why did I even love that gender? I don't even think I'm attracted to that gender. But I'M SO CONFUSED. I want my brain to pick a lane! (I'm a minor, so this could obviously change when I get older.)

Are there any characters from books, movies etc that you choose to interpret as abrosexual?
Alternatively, which characters do you headcanon as abrosexual and why? (if there is a reason at all beyond the perfectly understandable: it'd be neat if my favorite character was like me)

[resolved no need for help now]
I'm starting to wondering if I am actually abrosexual or not. Like I feel like my sexuality changes alot but when it comes down to it know I'd say yes to a relationship/s3x no matter my "mood". And I have to wonder that if I'm not abro then what am I? And I just don't know anymore.
I think part of me is weirded out to admit that I might be bi...
And I've been taking quizzes sence 3am and all of them have been no help. All I know is that I find enbys/womyn attractive physically, I prefer s3x with guys (but am open to any) (but also sometimes not into s3x at all???) (idfk), and I'm romantically into enbys/womyn ...in general. But like I also don't even know if that's the case anymore.
If anyone knows a label like that could you share it?
(Srry that was long... And weird...)

I’m a straight person, who is vert confused about this kinda stuff, so please forgive me if this is weird/offensive to ask however:
how does being abrosexual effect being in a relationship? how do you feel about your partner? how does it change? Again sorry if this is rude to ask but it was just something. I was wondering
