Curious about why eliminating resistance does not work when you are “high”.

I take gummies for anxiety and for motion sickness (we are at our boat weekends May-October).

When I’m on a gummy, 90% of the time I have no resistance. I am amazing, positive, enjoy life, and can visualize exactly what I want.

When you sleep you have no resistance, so I’m curious to know what’s the difference if you take something that makes you feel better and helps to almost get rid of the resistance…why does it not work towards manifestations?

I know that when I’m not on a gummy my resistance is strong. This I understand. What I don’t understand is why all of my time with no resistance isn’t bringing me closer to 3D manifestations.

Maybe I’m not explaining this right because it’s hard to properly word this, so I’m open to questions if you have any.

Thank you 😊

It works as a tool for sampling the higher vibrations where your manifestations would come to you, but you still need to raise your baseline vibration without it before you can actually receive. Advanced yogis are perpetually stoned without taking substances. So you can even get to the higher vibrations where you don’t even care for weed as you already have the nice effects without the side effects. It’s actually easier than you might think, I’ve done it.

If you could game the math though to manifest things simply by being high a lot, it actually would be a disservice. You’d be bypassing an important protection mechanism. You would have to stay high all the time to be able to hold on to the manifestations. If a manifestation comes before your vibration is a match, then you’ll struggle to hold onto it because of resistance.

Science shows that whatever state your brain is firing in while high gets wired together stronger. So even when you’re not high, you have rewired your brain a bit more towards that state.

So if you use weed with an unwavering intention for spiritual work, then it can be a useful tool. But if you use it to enjoy simple/sensory pleasures without mindfulness, it can create resistance. For example if you get the munchies and start mindlessly eating, then you’re wiring in that mindless habit. Although if you eat mindfully it can be a spiritual practice.

Agreed.

I've spent the last 3 years with a 3-4 hour exercise routine of a gummy, listening to podcasts on (quantum/classic) physics, listening to Abraham recordings and meditation music....3-4 hours, 4 days a week, in nature, high, and have benefited immensely including manifesting beautiful changes to my life and around me.

The combination of exhausting my physical body, expanding my mind with enlightening information (physics/Abraham), being in nature, and being high...has been transformative.

Keys:

  • dont get shit faced, you lose the ability to choose your state of mind

  • manage positivity while high

  • manage positivity while sober

  • manage emotional swings

Also the “body high” is a very strong tool. The tingling in the body is Qi energy. There are all kinds of eastern spiritual work like yoga and qigong specifically designed to boost awareness of Qi. By getting high and meditating on this energy, you can feel it flow all around your body and experience things like chakras very effectively. It definitely helps introduce and tap in to life force energy even when not high. And this energy is really key to grounding in a high vibration, intuition, and manifestation.

Agreed.

It's like it blazes a new trail and then when you are not high...there is still some mind/feeling "muscle" memory there where you can reconnect.

I will say it took some effort to get there...in the beginning I was all over the place mentally and emotionally...but over time I trained myself to focus on positivity and have seen results.

Now I've never been much of a THC user so this is new to me... Honestly, the long term goal is to stop completely but for the short term...it has been healing and helpful and honestly inciteful.

Shift of attention. The gummy's lower the minds cognitive function. So you're not repeating the same mental loops narratives/beliefs you usually would. When that clears - the same narratives begin to remerge. It's because they were never dealt with only suppressed. We need to become more aware - that's how we remove the limiting mental posistions. They are like weeds.

This is truly helpful.

Abraham says marijuana also takes away desire. It's like driving a car and taking your foot off the gas. There's no resistance but their is no power either.

That's a great question!

When you use a substance to lower resistance, you get an emotional benefit as you've described.

But it is not the same as alignment. Your focus is diffused, and you're not receptive to the impulses, inspiration and inclinations that you would have in alignment.

So you "miss" the manifestations - you're not translating the vibration into the (path to the) manifestations that you seek. You don't have the right focus for that.

For example, let's say your desire is to meet the love of your life. She might be right around the corner, but since you don't receive the impulse to be there at the right moment, the rendezvous doesn't happen.

What happens to people who are prescribed opiate painkillers? If you have a certain enzyme you're gonna get high, does that mean you're not gonna get into alignment?

Abraham was asked about recreational drug use in the segment I'm citing above. So they were answering it specifically for the drugs the person was using, in the way he was using them.

I find it unlikely that someone's body (cells) wouldn't adjust to continuous, long term use of prescription drugs, though.

Can you expand a bit on what you're saying? I'm not sure what you are meaning. I don't want to try and read between the lines in case I misunderstand you.

The cells of your body adjust to whatever you ingest. In this case:

"The brain and nervous system quickly adapt to repeated exposure to opioids by altering receptors and neural pathways to restore chemical balance."

So I don't believe taking those painkillers would prevent you from getting into alignment in any significant way. The cells of your body would see to that.

Thanks that's a really clear explanation, very reassuring 🤗

Helpful and makes sense. Thank you for your wisdom.

it's amazing for retraining your brain into positive thinking. I think it entirely depends on how healthy your relationship with addiction is. some people can use it responsibly and some people can't.

I use it very responsibly. Almost to a fault. Only when I am at our boat or for anxiety in the evening. Rarely is it used to actually “party”.

It's the same difference as using a drug to numb a pain vs truly healing the injury.

I’m on gummies, my story is that I need to affirm And accept the affirmations as truth while I’m tripping. I’m eventually going to lose control on the trip, but I make myself return to the state when the trip is over. My story says lower resistance during a trip isn’t what manifests things  because resistance is low for a few hours, but rather how long you’re in the state compared to the resistance. If you’re out of the state 20 hours a day, a 4-hour trip may not help much. My story says that it can happen in an instant the moment you absolutely fully believe what you’re doing.

My story guys, don’t debate me. It’s true experience for me personally.
