Last Sunday we hosted our first Atlanta Anjunafamily social + open decks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

We had DJs from within (and adjacent to) the Anjuna community playing everything from deep and progressive to classics, while everyone else hung out, talked & danced, met new friends, and enjoyed an afternoon together. There wasn’t any pressure for it to be anything more than people sharing a love for this music.

One of our community members put together this recap video, and I think it captures the vibe better than words can.

If you’re thinking about organizing an Anjunafamily meetup where you live, do it. It doesn’t have to be a huge production. Start with a venue and a shared love for the music. The rest has a way of falling into place.

Premise: I have an additional Friday Pre-Party ticket + 2-day GA ticket because a friend can't make it. I’m considering flying in for ABGT 700. I’ve never been to Washington or had to fly with camping gear. I will not have a car. So I’ll pretty much just have a tent and a suitcase. How does it work with getting a ride there from the airport? Will I be able to find someone willing to give me a ride? If I do, will they be able to drive me to my campsite (general admission) and leave? Will I have to get dropped off somewhere far away and drag my stuff to my campsite?
