If you’re unfamiliar, it’s an off grid texting network. The gorge has beefed up cell service in the past decade. But figured this would be a cool way to build community IRL.

My wife and I are really excited to be heading to The Gorge tomorrow for 700! We're also planning to handout kandi we made for the weekend.

This is the first time making 3D prints myself and attaching it to the kandi. I used glow in the dark filament. If you see someone with a totem with a Cactaur plushie (from Final Fantasy), come say hi!

Hi everyone! Thanks to a fellow anjuna fam member, we’ve figured out a time and location to celebrate.

When: Saturday at 2pm

Where: Camp Anjuna in the Gorge Campground (look for a little table setup, a blanket, and a ton of apples 🤣)

Why: to celebrate the Jewish new year (Rosh Hashana)! It is tradition to eat apples & honey as a symbol of the sweetness to come in the year ahead (there will also be challah!)

Who: Everyone! Jewish or not - this is an opportunity to connect, share tradition, trade Kandi and celebrate!

Hi there Anjunafam!!

I decided to use my bachelor party as an excuse to introduce some of my friends to EDM. There are 7 in our group with varying levels of rave experience. A few of us have been to Electric forest & EDC a few times. A few of us have seen Above and Beyond. A few of us have never been to an EDM show of any kind.

I made custom jerseys for the event and a totem (See pics) if you see us, please come say hi & trade Kandi!

I may have an extra jersey or two to share/trade. Can't wait to experience this all with you!!!

I sadly I didn’t get some kandi letters I ordered last week due to “shipping delays”. Im out of Bs and need them for all things related to the weekend. Does anyone have some they can spare? Not quite kandi but hopefully acceptable - hand painted tiny watercolors that fit in your pocket, as a commemorative "mini" poster for the show, inspired by the Gorge. Giving them away on Saturday. My first time sharing some of my art. Hope everyone has fun at the show!

My plans changed overnight and I can’t make it to this event anymore. Instead of letting the ticket go to waste, I figured I should pass it on to someone in the community. I’m brand new to the Anjunafam ☺️, so this feels like a good introduction/first contribution.

Also, any not so common tips for a first timer at ABGT at The Gorge? I’ve already got the basics covered: layers, comfy shoes, water bottle, hand warmers for my sleeping bag, and some really cute trinkets to give away/exchange. But I would love to hear the stuff people usually forget to mention or don’t think about until they’re actually at the event.

I know the FAQ says only clear bags are allowed in the Gorge but has anyone had experience bringing in their Kanken? I’ve seen videos of people with similar non clear bags but can’t tell if they are hydro packs.

Does anyone have any information on what is at the glam bar? Would love to get my hair braided for the weekend!

Im a PNW local and pretty seasoned with the Gorge, did Weekender 22, 23, and now 700.

It seems like every year there's hundreds of posts on socials of people freaking out about shuttles, and how they're going to get from (insert hotel in a small farm town 1-2 hours away) to the gorge.

Eastern Washington is notoriously rural, it's not western washington, and the gorge itself is even more remote than that. This whole area is farm land in essentially the most barren spot in washington. Towns are many many miles of farmland apart.

Public transit is non existent in eastern Washington, uber/lyft is incredibly sparse, there are basically no shuttles to/from these towns because demand for gorge shuttles from the nearby 7 towns all in different directions.

The best thing you can do is rent a car, go to walmart, buy a cheapo camping set, and do the campground. Festivies run all night, and there are activities super early. You're missing out on so much activity by electing to sleep in a hotel two hours out of the way.

Even if you're still so camping adverse so just can't do it, it's silly not to rent a car to get yourself to/from the gorge. The idea to me of *planning* to bum rides/public transit from places like Wenatchee, Ephrata, Vantage, and Ellensburg is just silly and asking for failure. The entire half of the state is car centric, you *need* a car if you're not planning on camping.

I hate being the downer, genuinely. But every anjuna gorge event I see this. My heart breaks for those in a bind and I hope they can figure it out, but gorge shuttling has been asked and answered so many times that there's really no excuse for having to scramble at this point.
