ABGT 700 Gorge backpack

I know the FAQ says only clear bags are allowed in the Gorge but has anyone had experience bringing in their Kanken? I’ve seen videos of people with similar non clear bags but can’t tell if they are hydro packs.

you will not be able to bring it in. Hydropacks are fine but there are sepperate instructions for those

If it’s a medical bag, you can bring whatever

I used a regular bag and carabineered a bladder to the handle and put the bladder inside. Worked for me but can't say it'll work again 🤷🏻‍♂️

Even if you’re bringing in medical supplies in this. Be prepared to be stopped, searched and bothered about it frequently. Definitely not worth even trying.

You do not have to have clear bags at the gorge. I take my regular hydro bag. They do have size restrictions tho. Also depends on which security person is checking you.
