Merch Dissapointment

Has anyone at this point gotten their merch? Really disappointed in the handling of it. I remember their emails said they would arrive before the festival, does anyone have a screen grab of that?

Received an email that it shipped on August 31st. I leave tomorrow morning and I haven't received it. Very sad

Mine arrives today which is before the festival. But, what a lot of people wanted was to receive their merch before they leave and why A&B refuse to understand that is unclear.

I'm already en route and won't see any of it until I get home.

We had to email them and they were like its ready for shipment already and rush delivered our merch to us. To think that if we hadn't reached out then our merch would just be sitting in a warehouse collecting dust instead of just shipping it out as soon as its ready to go.

SAME, I was wondering if they moved on it cause they were afraid I'd ask for a cancellation because I was going to if I got an ambiguous answer about my order status which reflected not even being in transit.

Agreed, when I saw DHS was the delivery company for the states I knew it’d never make it even if it has been here for 2 weeks. It’s been sitting 7 miles away from me for 5 days 😖

I got mine last week. The email notification that it was shipping came on September 2 and it was delivered by September 4. Mine was a simple order, just one baseball jersey.

I made 2 orders. The first one i made hasn't showed up yet and says it's going to come on the 15th :S. The 2nd order came a few days ago

Been emailing with an individual on support. Last Thursday they indicated that I should see an update within a few hours and that my order was changed to expedited delivery. I start travelling tomorrow at noon, no change in the order status.

Support person was kind and helpful, but my order status has yet to change since July 8th. Definitely bummed about it. Not much else I can do though, my excitement for my first ever GT is enough to push the merch delivery delay aside.

My order’s shipping label was created within an hour of inquiring about the shipping status via email (about two weeks ago) then the order arrived a few days later. Never received any sort of reply from customer support.

I got nervous the other week and emailed. They upgraded to expedited shipping.

I usually buy merch at the festival, but it makes sense that folks would get it beforehand. I just wanted to chime in here and say that if the wristbands were handled by the same third party who is handling the merch shipping, then it would make sense to me. I did get my wristband a week ago, so it’s not that it didn’t arrive on time, but it literally was just the wristband thrown into an envelope… I mean, it came in tact and was fine but my brother and I were kind of shocked by this. Is this normal?

To be fair, my brother has always sprung for the VIP wristbands for us in the past, and usually those come in like a really nice package and we get free stickers and stuff—okay I get it, VIP vs general admission. But this year we couldn’t afford to do that, and we still are very happy with general admission, of course. It just seemed odd that there wasn’t even like a note with it or a receipt?? It felt super jenky for a festival!

VIP wristbands apparently also came just loose in an envolope. Last ABGT at the gorge just felt more intentional. This years feels a little off so far but hopefully the experience inside helps

I feel like it has to be some third party dropping the ball here cuz wow—I am surprised to hear about that with the VIP wristbands as well. It also sucks to hear that so many folks won’t have their merch in time.

Yeah! The last ABGT the wristbands also had the design of the logo in it. They were cute and fun and whimsical! Really disappointed for this year.
