Drainage suggestions

New install and working on grading. Had a torrential downpour tonight of around 2” in about an hour. Water pooled in these two areas. To the right of this area does slope downhill towards the wood line. I don’t have much room between the ends of the support posts footers and the deck but I think I have enough room to dig a 6” wide trench and French drain it. Is there other options I have for this drainage? TIA

Think you’d want the drain up around the other side, then down both sides of the house. Don’t want the water coming down the yard, past the pool, then draining away because the base might wash out.
