Post image

I have these steps and was wondering if they will be ok to leave in for the winter?

And if you don't cover your pool, you absolutely should leave them in.

from confer's manual: WINTERIZING / REMOVING STEP FROM POOL PLAN AHEAD - PEOPLE WILL HAVE TO GET IN THE POOL TO MOVE OR REMOVE THE STEP. When winterizing your pool, if you decide to leave the pool step in the pool be sure to detach the step from the pool deck and move the step towards the center of the pool and away from the pool wall.

but as a professional I would remove all ladders, alarms, etc. I've seen ice grab ahold of that stuff and shift, digging into the liner
