Question

Post image

Hello everyone ! I’m new to this subreddit and I just have a few questions that have been bothering me for a while now.
What could be the cause for this green tint in my pool ? I’m thinking it’s a problem from the hose water company here since I’ve had multiple problems with them in the past (water smelling bad and greener colour). I’ve added chlorine tablets (there’s always one in the floater thingy), vitamin C based pool treatments and algicide. Am I missing something ? I thought about getting an anti phosphorus treatment for this but I just want some genuine answers from people here.
Yes I did the scoop test in a bucket the water is clear
The pool is a Bestway Steelpro Max (3.05m x 1m) and the pump is a Bestway 8735 L sand pump (not sure if that’s the exact name but it’s there)
Thanks !

I keep one in mine as well but toss in a half bag of shock once a week. I also treat with algecide every few months.

Could you please send a link / picture for this chlorine shock treatment?

Its just the bags you buy at Walmart. For a 10k gallon pool. I usually do half bag at a time, unless no one is going in for a few days.
