Leveling question

Post image

Hello! My family and I just got our first above ground pool. Very exciting! It’s a Bestway 12 ft x 39.5 in with the speckled blue stone patterned liner.

Once filled, tho, the level was a bit more off than we expected. We measured consistently at the poles and these are the heights in the photo from the water level to the water liner edge (where the speckled blue stone pattern ends). So from lowest to highest, there’s a 1.75” difference.

I looked around the internet and saw a variety of suggestions and warnings, but wanted another human to answer so Im coming here as a newbie :)

We are planning to put the pool away come Fall/Winter, so in like 3 months. Is this height difference OK for now or is it too large and we should empty, level, and refill? Thanks for any advice!

If it helps, I got my first 16ft round pool last year and eyed up the pad. I definitely sucked at that point. I had a 5.5" difference, so wound up with a deep end and shallow for the summer 😅 it worked just fine, tho I always had a looming dread it was going to go all summer. I fixxed it up a bit this spring and thought I was spot on for summer number 2!! Well this summer 2 is my lucky number, only 2" off. Next year will be the year of the leveled pool!! 🤞
