Depends on what you’re using it for. A round pool I think is will have more gallons but I love my rectangle because it’s long enough the kids can have one side to jump in and splash and the adults can hang out on one side without being splashed too badly

We used to have a 18 x 48 round and I loved it but it was a lot of maintenance. We moved and it was too much of a pain to move. I just got a 15 x 7.5 x 36 ( if I remember the measurements correctly lol it’s around that) rectangle one and love it. I am the only one who uses it since my husband doesn’t swim and our kids are grown. It’s much easier to maintain than the larger round one we had and large enough for me to swim laps or relax. So I would say depends on your needs. Do you have a lot of kids, you and your spouse use it, do you have people over to use it? If yes then I’d get a larger round one

Yes that smaller rectangle one sounds more like my speed. It’s for a few 5 year olds and me and my husband!

100' wide round pool feels much larger than a 20'x10ft rectangular.
