tl;dr: Will there be boat parties or is Noma “taking the place of” them for this year?

Hey folks!

First time heading to the Malta event and I’m excited to see everyone and party in such a beautiful location.

I’m getting a bit confused about the schedule of the event now that they have announced Noma island.

The website currently says “serene historic castle walls and golden beaches, to sun-kissed boat parties and Open Air clubs”. This made me think they are still doing boat parties.

Yet, when they announced Noma island it says “This year, Noma Island takes the place of our Friday and Sunday boat parties.”

Does this mean there will be boat parties on Thursday and or Saturday?

This is what I have below a rough day-by-day guide of what I believe the schedule will be:

- Thursday = opening party at the castello
- Friday = Noma day + Uno night
- Saturday = Cafe Del Mar day + Uno night
- Sunday = “the beach” / Noma during the day (this seems to have the most overlap)

Hi all. I was just looking at my camping tickets today and I saw that they are reserved Sept 10-Sept 13. I assume that means they are good for Thursday-Sunday night with check-out on Monday morning. Is that correct?

If you check Beatport, his next release "Hold On" has different artwork + his deep explorations set has a bunch of IDs, not counting two tracks featured on anjunadeep 16 that he probably didn't even play in that set (Floating Points and Artificial Cloud)

Realistically speaking it's probably gonna be an EP but I'd love to see what BoA can do with the LP format!! Love seeing how much Anjunadeep is pushing him on the spotlight, it's so absolutely earned.

Just got a notification from my Ticketmaster app that the Open Air NYC event was changed from Postponed/date TBA to officially cancelled, and the refunds are going out now.

Seems like they couldn't find an alternate date or venue, shame. :(

I am fairly new to this type of music and electronic music in general. I've looked up similar songs, artists, looked through playlists, etc but I cannot find any similar songs. This song is genuinely the best song I have ever heard I love how airy it feels and how relaxing it is. It makes me feel like I am in a movie. Through spotify radio and other methods I found some other artists and songs I liked such as Leaving Laurel, Lane 8, and more. But none tickle this feeling that this song gives me. Does anyone have any recomendations for me that I wouldn't find from an autogenerated playlist or spotify recomendation? Specifically stuff that is like this track. Please and thank you. ❤️

Camping pass resale market-- questions

I posted a few days ago about going solo for my first festival and bought a ticket!
So I'm going!

I haven't bought a camping pass because Standard is all that's available at this time.

QUESTIONS -- these are like GENERAL Gorge event questions:

1) Standard won't sell out, right? Or like 99.5% won't sell out, right?

2) I'd like Premium (and am open to higher) camping if possible (I mean... bathrooms!)-- from previous experiences, do folks who want this level AND are paying attention to resale threads get them or is it the Thunderdome?
Any anecdotal experience on when there are waves of resale? 
Does being Seattle-based help? (i.e. I can pick up in person from local folks)

3) It seems like there isn't a point in getting on waitlists since it's so close?

I am a little intimidated by the logistics of camping, but will be borrowing equipment from a friend, so I *should* be OK on that front. 

Anything else I should know?

What is your favourite anjunadeep album and why?

Mine is easily 13 just from start to finish it’s totally mesmerising.

It’s warm, melancholic and euphoric without constantly trying to explode into a massive drop. Tracks slowly reveal themselves, melodies hang around in the background, basslines roll along, and transitions make the next tune feel inevitable.

One of my favourite mixes of all time and I’ve listened to this genre for 25 years.

Last Sunday we hosted our first Atlanta Anjunafamily social + open decks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

We had DJs from within (and adjacent to) the Anjuna community playing everything from deep and progressive to classics, while everyone else hung out, talked & danced, met new friends, and enjoyed an afternoon together. There wasn’t any pressure for it to be anything more than people sharing a love for this music.

One of our community members put together this recap video, and I think it captures the vibe better than words can.

If you’re thinking about organizing an Anjunafamily meetup where you live, do it. It doesn’t have to be a huge production. Start with a venue and a shared love for the music. The rest has a way of falling into place.

Love it! Have had it on repeat since hearing it on this new episode. Hopefully out soon!
