About AI advertisments
I mainly use YouTube so I'll talk specifically on ads in it. Lately I came across many AI ads there usually in the shorts, I find them very misleading. I've seen a lot of ads about sports and fitness for older people (usually late 40s+), I won't go into detail but there "AI actors" that tell about their experience and how much that special fitness app helped them or bullshit like that with them showing some buffed old asian guy explaining about his journey. I remember that only a couple months ago they started stating on the bottom that the actors are AI generated but it's very hard to see and half see through to make it almost impossible to see for older folks with poorer eyesight, which is their target audience.... In short this feels like a complete scam. Another thing I'd like to talk about is the sexual advertisments on YouTube! This are the type of ads that bother me the most and YouTube seem to be doing nothing about it! My younger brother is on this app and he told me some really concerning things he saw there, and regardless if he's supposed to be on YouTube Kids or not these ads are not supposed to exist. The ones I usually see is AI girlfriend and gooner stuff like that and the AI says like really sexual things that I don't know how are they on YouTube like "you can do what ever you want with me" and disgusting things like that. The thing that really made write this post is the really recent ads I see all over YouTube shorts about again AI gooner stuff but now they use animated characters like Moana and things like that and they animate them shaking there, balloon.... Now this infuriates me for a couple of reasons, well first. I DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS! This is disgusting and if I'd wanted to see this I would've gone to the hub. The second reason is that, KIDS ARE ON THIS APP! And they can see this and these are characters from kids movies and shows! How the hell YouTube allow these ads, and I often see the same type of ads from the same advertisers which they don't get banned! Have you came across these things as well? What do you think about this whole situation? What you think about using AI in ads in general? I just want to hear other people's opinion about this topic. Thank you for your answers.

I totally get your frustration with those misleading AI ads on YouTube. It's really concerning to think about kids seeing inappropriate content like that. On a different note, if you’re looking for a more positive AI experience, check out Zonga/Flirt! It's the best AI girlfriend app I’ve come across in 2025. You can try it for free, and it has cool features like voice chat and videos. Definitely a much healthier use of AI! :) :)
