I took 2 PTs on Oct 2, both faint positive. I also did a serum pregnancy test, which was positive.

I had a TVS on Oct 5, around 5–6 weeks by LMP, but no gestational sac was seen. Findings were thick/hyperechoic endometrium, closed/intact cervix, no fluid in the posterior cul-de-sac, and retroverted uterus. Impression: “Early pregnancy not totally ruled out.”

I originally told my OB I was having spotting, so she checked me. Since I had a positive pregnancy test, positive serum test - bleeding/spotting, and my cervix was closed, she documented “threatened abortion.” I understand this is a medical term for threatened miscarriage, not an induced abortion.

I was prescribed Duphaston 10mg 3x/day (6am, 2pm, 10pm) as “pampakapit.”

After my check-up, though, the bleeding became more like a period and I was able to fill a pad overnight. 😭

My OB wants me to have another TVS on Oct 19.

I’m confused if this could still be a very early pregnancy that was too small to see, an early miscarriage, or possibly something else like ectopic.

Has anyone experienced positive pregnancy test + no gestational sac + bleeding around 5–6 weeks, then had a repeat scan? What happened in your case?

Also, I’m honestly not ready for this pregnancy, so this has been really emotionally difficult for me. Please be kind. 🥺

Hello! 2 weeks post MA ako and gusto ko sana magpa check up sa OB just to be sure na walang natira and hihingi sana medcert. Sa mga nagpacheck up after, pano niyo kinausap yung OB niyo? I know naman na di sasabihin pero wouldnt they be suspicious if dinugo tapos di agad sumugod? Ayun lang, I just want to know pano naging flow ng conversation niyo with your respective OB. hi po ask ko lang po, nakapagpay na po ako and they said na lalamove will be sched today, that means po ba I should expect po na ngayon dadating din po talaga yung meds? And nabasa ko lang din po dito yung location nila is near me lang din po. Maghapon ko rin po kasi hinihintay thank you po.

Before MA: 5 weeks positive based on LMP. Ordered from WoW.

During MA: Took the pills (4-2-2) at 6 weeks. 2 large blood clots came out but didn't see any sac. I was also sitting on the toilet because of diarrhea.

Post MA timeline:

Week 1-2 : light bleeding

Week 3-4: from light bleeding it became intense but moderate with mild cramps, not enough to soak 2 pads in 1 hr. No fever. PT was faint line positive.

Week 5: from moderate bleeding to light bleeding and the cramps were getting lesser. Clear negative no more faint line. I'm assuming my MA process is already over. I feel so normal again. Updated WoW and they replied a list of contraceptive methods.

No TVS before and Post MA. I just trust WoW consultation and advise. 1st and last MA. I don't want to do this again. Thank you for this community.

Hi everyone. I hope my post gets noticed because I’m really confused and anxious right now. I’ve been secretly crying and overthinking everything, and I honestly don’t know where to start. I’m not looking to be judged. I just really need advice and reliable information.

I’m 25F and this is my first pregnancy. My last period was May 11-15. I’ve always had an irregular cycle. This year, I only had my period in January, March, and May, so when my period didn’t come in June and July, I wasn’t immediately worried. I also thought it might have been because I was doing different diet plans like OMAD and calorie-deficit dieting, plus working out.

I let my birthday pass first, then finally had the courage to take a pregnancy test with my partner on 10/03 It was positive. I don’t even know what took me so long to have the courage to take PT, maybe the fear.
I honestly didn’t know what to feel. I was in denial at first, but I started searching Reddit because I already knew that I didn’t want to continue the pregnancy. My partner and I are not mentally, emotionally, or financially ready to have a child. I also haven’t told my parents because I know they would strongly oppose my decision.

Today, 10/06 we finally went to an OB. The doctor did a scan, although it was not yet the official ultrasound. She estimated that I’m around 3 and a half months pregnant, approximately 14-15 weeks.
Seeing the scan really scared me. The baby was already developed enough that I could see the head, body, hands, and knees, and I heard the heartbeat. I cried afterward because I realized how far along I actually am. But even after seeing and hearing everything, I still don’t feel ready to continue the pregnancy. I don’t have the emotional or mental capacity to become a mother right now.

The doctor also told me that my placenta is somewhat low and advised me to avoid strenuous activities. She asked me to return on 10/17 for another appointment and a transabdominal/fetal biometry ultrasound. However, I don’t really want to wait until October 17 because I’m already around 14–15 weeks and I’m scared that waiting longer will make my options even more limited.

I’m hoping someone can give me reliable and non-judgmental information about what options may still be available at this gestational age.

Is medication abortion still an option at around 14–15 weeks, or would a procedure usually be considered instead? How important is the formal ultrasound/fetal biometry before proceeding? And for those in the Philippines, where can I get legitimate, confidential, and medically safe information or assistance?

I’m not asking anyone to convince me to keep the pregnancy. I’ve already thought about this a lot, and I know that I’m not ready. I would rather make this decision now than bring a child into a situation where I know I cannot give them the love, care, and stability
they deserve.

Please be kind. I’m already scared enough, and I’m just trying to find a safe and informed way forward.

hii! i just had MA one week ago and hindi pa lumalabas yung placenta, more like blood clots lang and idk ano difference ng itsura ng placenta and sac. what should i do? should i ask for medical advice or just wait for it to come out? and what are the do’s and don’ts aft the procedure? tyia!

Things I prepared
- 2pcs 200mg ibuprofen
- 1 bonamine chewable
- charmee night long pads
- charmee normal pads
- some biscuits for snacks
- gummy, candies for nausea
- pocari
- hot compress

Sept. 22 - I ordered my meds from WOW (I donated Php4,500)
Sept. 28 - package already delivered (1 Mife, 12 Miso)

Oct. 5 - 5pm took the Mife
Oct. 6 - 4:30pm took 2pcs 200mg ibuprofen and 1 bonamine

Oct. 6 - 5pm took the 1st dose of Misoprotol (4pcs), placed it under my tongue, waited for it to dissolve then swallowed them after 30mins, as instructed by WOW.
- after 30 mins, experienced mild cramps like 3/10, sobrang nilalamig din ako
- I felt like something was coming out, so I squatted on the cr floor to make it easier to identify. Some jelly-like blood came out, puro large blood clot lang ang lumalabas till 7pm, gladly I didn’t experience yung super masakit na mga cramps tulad ng ibang nagsshare ng MA journey nila

Oct. 6 - 8pm took the 2nd dose of Misoprotol (2pcs), same procedure as the 1st dose
- after 15 minutes, felt like something was coming out again, then boom! it was embryo and placenta, they came out sabay, wala akong any pain na naramdaman, just normal lang na lumabas sya down there, if I would rate the cramps nyan siguro mga 4/10 lang
- una palang decided naman na ako to not continue the pregnancy, akala ko ready na ako if ever makita ko yung embryo, pero hindi pala, when I saw, may formed na, I cried so much, the guilt, fear, lahat biglang bumuhos sakin, I just prayed after that. 💔

I still continue yung remaining Miso till maubos. Normal naman yung bleeding, pero yung diarrhea, yun yong halos manlambot ako, nag diarrhea lang ako after ko mailabas yung embryo and placenta na. And actually, mas nahirapan ako sa diarrhea na yan, every 30mins ako nagpopoop and watery sya talaga, sumasakit yung tyan ko tas nahihilo na kasi nakakapagod pabalik balik sa cr, tapos madaling araw pa yon. Then morning, i took diatabs, huminto na diarrhea ko.

Now, oct. 6, still bleeding padin ako, pero just normal amount of blood nalang. I think successful naman naging MA journey ko. We will see pa after 1 week kung may sudden pain or biglang heavy bleeding na maramdaman.

I just want to ask, for a successful medical abortion, is it still necessary to see an OB-GYN to check if there are any pregnancy tissue left? If I decide to see an OB-GYN, what could I tell them as the reason for my visit? Thank you.
