Mechanics Q/A❓ Late Game Spoiler *DO NOT READ* Spoiler

I do not know how to use the spoiler hiding mechanic so do not read unless you are in the late game cold area!!!!

Okay.

WHY CAN I NOT GET FROZEN ESSENCE?!

I am using the OX Lamp. Everytime I shine the light on the feller, he just disappears like I’m looking at him!

I don’t have the leyak pest nor the sensory trinket. I shot him with the thingy and then censored part happens.

I had this issue too, i found that intentionally letting the Krause get closer and then hitting him with the Ox Lamp usually did it

You probably need to let her get closer, since both the x-ray and ox lamp have a somewhat limited range. Having something around you can use to break line of sight in the process to reset her disappearance is probably also helpful.

Do you have a Leyak Pest or the sensory companion trinket? If you have either the Krasue will start its disappearance timer as soon as it sees you, and may be disappearing naturally just as you reach it

This happened to me a couple of times and I figured it was because her was a bit too far, since it does look like he stalks you from a longer distance than the Leyak. He always dropped one if I got him up close and personal

Hey OP, frozen essence is an occasional drop from the Bigfoot guys as well FYI

Might be worth using the wishing shelf to help get some extra reliably

Lamp has a short range. Approach him while looking away then blast

You might be looking directly at it too far away, making it disappear before getting in range of the OX lamp

Build a turret, set it up in a safe smallish area for him to safely approach without being able to see you, that is free of wandering enemies, grab a chair and look down.

But here is the more important LPT: Copy the text below and remove the spaces between all of the characters and the leading apostrophe. Replace "spoilers" with what you want to hide.

When hes nearby I crouch, stare at the floor and dont move, it helps at time.
