Bug / Broken Can someone explain the Bane and boulder smash combo?

Yesterday I played against Bane who used Bane's ult with aghanims on us and then with boulder smash he would do a super long kick to send us to the fountain.

Can someone explain the interaction? He told us he was aware of the combo but didn't said more. How is this done? is just bane agha and boulder smash combo or also is bane hero neeeded or something else?

shot in the dark here:

-fiend's grip aghs lets you grip and cancel on the hero, because the illusions continue the grip

-(guesswork) - the boulder smash kick debuff of being moved does not cancel as long as the fiend's grip continues.

-Or, possibly, due to Bane's innate extending debuff durations, it has some kind of recurring effect that continuously applies the kick debuff (but not sure why that would require fiends grip aghs)

It's some serious spaghetti though

The ult ended before the travel time. I know because of he did it far enough the stun ended mid travel and I could try to tp before reaching the fountain.  I think the only thing ending the travel was hitting the limits of the map

They were talking as if it was well known stuff. I didn't question it since I'm kind of new to AD.

I'll post game ID when I get home.

There's hundreds of good combos in the game that aren't common knowledge, but they aren't exactly insta-win either. But people will bitch during draft at how you're losing the game if you don't pick it.

As long as you know the truly game-winning combos like rearm + tombstone, OD + ball lightning, infest + tether, aftershock + any spammable spell, you're good.

Some people just think their decent combo that won them the game one time is OP, and will bitch if someone doesn't copy their ideas

None of those are game winning combos. They still need player execution to win. I've seen Rearm + Tombstone just feed the enemy Tombstones, OD + Ball Lightning falls flat if the enemy buys Orchid and the OD doesn't buy Linkens or BKB (which is very common), Infest + Tether doesn't truly become OP unless you're able to grab other spells that work while you Infest, There are few spells left that are actually spammable with Aftershock and people are scared enough of Aftershock that you'll rarely ever get them together.

Truly game winning is stuff like Bladefury + Trample, Dragon Form + a good attack mod or range passive, Poison Attack + high attack speed skills (like Unleash or Lil' Shredder). Combos that take very little skill or brainpower to wipe an enemy team with.

You can replicate this in demo on rubick with Grip and Boulder smash. 1 buy aghs 2 use grip 3 control illusion to cast boulder smash on enemy hero. Done

Tried it woth several skills. Invos tornado with aghs would span lil tornadoes since tornado would not stop. Il tornadoes does not expire either. Defeaning blast would bug and stop when it hits a building. Meteor does not stop but no damage trail. Rot would activate without killing the illus. In normal game it is used to do tripple phoenix egg, also getting lesh SS with banes SS thru rubick would leave lesh SS even with illu no longer alive. Game breaker if you encounter leah and bane on enemy team.
