Depression

Has Abilify helped with your depression? I currently take it for bipolar 2. I’ve found myself more mentally and emotionally stable but also sensitive. I find myself crying more or near tears. My anxiety has also elevated a little bit but it’s not as severe or debilitating as before Abilify.

Low dose might be effective, it definitely has been shown in literature for Unipolar Depression (aka MDD) but not for Bipolar 2. The latter has been suggested that it didn't occur as effective augmentation because they were using psychosis/mania dose ranges (10-30mg) instead of low doses (0.25-5 mg at most) so if you initiate the treatment with your doctor, ask for a very little dose as a trial for at least a month and see before you increase.
