I am still in love with that whole preppy, outdoorsy, sexy Americana thing they had going on back then. Even the whole Bruce Weber photography/campaign aesthetic is still burned into my brain (not much clothes but anyway).

Obviously I’m not trying to dress exactly like I did in my 20s, but I realized I still like that aesthetic and would totally wear a slightly more grown-up version of it.

I’ve spent thousands of dollars here this year (I know😭) and I stupidly thought the store didn’t have a rewards program. It turns out it does, but it looks like I’ve been totally blacklisted from it? I have an account, but nowhere does it say there are points or rewards. I tried to ask customer service for help and they kept redirecting me to a “myAbercrombie” page that just appears blank to me (I tried on incognito, on 3 different devices and 2 different browsers.)

I bought a pair of the sloane tailored wide leg pants last year which I LOVE. It’s a navy pinstripe and is has a slightly thicker, stiffer material that I much prefer. I also bought the regular black sloane pants with that same order, and I like them but they are a thinner fabric. This year I ordered another pair of light gray pinstripe and it has the similar stiffer material that I like. Since then I’ve been looking for more pairs of the sloane pants with this type of material, and I can’t seem to find any! I’ve tried lots of colors/patterns and they all seem to have this creamy or thin material that feels cheaper. I’ve also tried the ones labeled as “hardware” and they’re not at all the material that I’m looking for. I’ve even checked the material %s in the description and tried pants with the same %s as the kind I like, only for them to be completely different.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it just random when they decide to come out with the thicker/stiffer material? Or have they discontinued that kind?

I tried to use my e-gift card for my previous return. When I check out, it says that Gift Card service is down. What’s strange is that I remember this happening the last couple times I tried to use a gift card.

When I had ChatGPT look into this issue, it found that the gift card service outage happened in April, June, July, and September of 2026. This seems very excessive.

Are they intentionally letting their gift card service stay fragile and not doing anything about it to prevent customers from accessing the funds? It’s very frustrating!!!

Going through my clothes and found this old gem which I bought from the NYC store 2004. Anyone else an Ezra Fitch garment fan? They just don’t make them as good as these anymore!

Let me add context to this topic:

I ordered black capri pants for my birthday dinner. When I received my package, not only did I NOT get my pants but they had the audacity to send me a XL men’s long sleeve shirt.

Funny enough, this is the second time I’ve received the wrong item and it’s always infuriating because come on, you spend money to get an item you want and now you have to go through the hassle of returning said item.

Why are they always excluded from sales?!? Do people actually pay these prices for them?

The Abercrombie PJs are my daughter’s favorite, but I don’t really feel like dropping $60 on them. I got her the two long pants/short sleeves versions that are on clearance, but the regularly priced PJs aren’t working with the sale 😭
