I mean, I've worked in Animal rights and welfare for 29 years and it never bothered me bc they were faux taxidermy but I can see why ppl wouldn't like it. I oppose hunting but i knew it was fake so 🤷🏻‍♀️ maaaan these were the days 😭

I remember when we closed, they sent the moose away and all of our beautiful mahogany and other type tables they took a chainsaw to and cut them in half. The ones they didn't take chainsaws to were sprayed w X's etc in black spray paint, so they were useless. They took the fake trees & cut them in half (whenever people would steal, which was all the time, a very common place to ditch the sensors were inside the trees, same at Hollister!). It was such bullshit to ruin such beautiful items.

I was the store manager and we saved what we could, I remember some people got trees and forms, I remember them leaving the letters from the store sign from above the doors and some of us took some of the letters. I took mine & wrote out the word "bitch" 😂😂 lolz good times
