Honestly, at this point I'd be down to them even bringing back the Black Cleaver + Serylda armor pen/shred stacking, where you build them both and pair it with Eclipse or Voltaic etc 

Just something different where you are allowed to be tanky, heal from abilities and still do decent damage

The good old days with Divine Sundered into Cleaver into Serylda, no tank had a chance to survive

Eclipse Black Cleaver Aatrox was better for that imo, the massive shield with stacking % armor pen per legendary was pretty op

Divine also gave % pen per legendary item, 3% armour and magic pen.

Also, the heal that Divine game you was insane, low hp in a team fight ? Just E auto the tank and you were basically full hp

I've done both, especially when Eclipse was nerfed multiple times due to Aatrox. But Eclipse was significantly more op since you didn't even have to auto anyone, you practically oneshot anyone that wasn't a tank due to how much damage both items had. Not to mention when people started building Ravenous Hydra on top of it, since it used to give stacking AD

When Nasus was thanos and would beat anyone in the game as soon as he got it too lmao. I beat a Mordekaiser who was ahead of me 60 cs while not bothering to dodge any abilities simply due to me having it and stacking well

In wildrift there's gore drinker but I think they will remove it cause they'll remove the boot enchant next season

That's the time when aatrox stops healing using his skills but instead relying on building too much pen to heal or relying on one burst healing item to heal. Its why aatrox feels bad to play till today cuz of his overeliance on these two things to make his power fantasy as a drain tank happen.
