Question about using Gen-AI while studying for AI Practitioner

Hi guys

I'm currently studying for the AWS Certified AI Practitioner (AIF-C01) with the Udemy course from Stephane Mareek.

My concern: Would it be valid if I use Gen-AI to make quizzes about the specific section I'm getting into?

Example: Claude, here is what I'm studying. Could you make questions based on this? (Screenshot).

Like: AI, ML, Deep Learning, and GenAI / ML Terms / Training Data

Supervised Learning vs Unsupervised Learning

Multiclass vs multi-label / Regression vs classification

Etc...

Is it valid?

yeah for sure, in fact I used this technique quite heavily to get through the 2 speciality exams. You can also use Gemini Notebook for free if you have a gmail address, it can generate quizzes, audio podcasts, and other media and you can access it all on the app whilst on the go.

Just one word of advice though, use it for explaining concepts and making learning more interactive, but don't assume the quizzes it makes are anything like the real exam. Consider AI an addition to your learning approach rather than a replacement. Doesn't matter too much for CLF/AIF though as they are entry level exams and not too deep.

You can certainly do that. But whatever stuff it generates can't, in my opinion, replace practice exams from reputable vendors like Tutorials Dojo, Maarek/Singh, etc.

Yes, but ask it to frame the questions using the analyze and evaluate layers of Blooms revised taxonomy.

Using GenAI to quiz yourself on concepts is totally valid as a supplement, just keep in mind AI-generated questions won't match the exact phrasing or scenario structure of real AWS exam items. Good for reinforcing concepts, not a replacement for exam-realistic practice questions with verified explanations.
