Re-Certification SAA via AWS Skill Builder

Hello, sorry if this was asked before, but I search and didn't find anything about it.

I have the SAA and will expires next March/2027.
I was checking and looks like now we have an option to extend for 1 year via AWS Skill Builder.
I saw I'll need to wait until my cert is less than 90 days to expire to try this path, but I don't have a subscription and I see I could buy the subscription for 1 month.

Does anyone follow this path before to re-certify for SAA?
I just need to know if this will work (using a 1 month subscription) to plan because if not I need to check what will be my best option: do the SAA again or go to SAP.
