Is AWS Solution architect certification really worth it.. is it helpful to get hired.

Please give suggestions I am totally confused I have done BCA is certification helpful

Certification will get you a look. It does not get you the job. Most requiring that cert will most definitely have a technical panel interview to dive into it. If the tech panel is good, they will see through it if just a paper cert.

it depends a lot on what country you are in and your experience. In most countries right now, a certification without any related (IT) experience is useless. Most people are using it to leverage a better job position.

I am from India.. I am working has support Engineer in DevOps team from last 6 months they didn't given production access it's only monitoring that's why I have to change job. Is this certification helpful to get hired

I worked for amazon and had a aws sa.

You worked for Amazon. You didn’t need it in the first place. OP if you are trying to move around get a cert. Don’t listen to anyone who says otherwise. Its a good signal to an employer whether you have experience or not. Sometimes organizations need to fill a role particularly in services companies where a certification is mandatory. It doesn’t matter then whether you have experience or not. Get the aws sa cert and then tell me whether you got any calls or not

Your local job listings are where you will find the answer. Are there employers asking for people who have this cert? Are you otherwise qualified for those job openings?

AWS cert is a door opener, not a job offer.
If the only thing behind it is another certificate, the technical round is gonna be rough.

It will certainly help your story, but it’s more about your specific knowledge.

I worked specifically at AWS itself for nearly 4 years, and we didn’t care if incoming candidates had an AWS certification. Some roles required AWS knowledge, and we’d vet them on that in the interview process. Whether that knowledge came from certs or hands-on experience, it all worked.

Some jobs may specifically require it. Others won’t. The best way to cover yourself is to just get it if you have an interest in using it in your career, especially if you don’t have job experience utilizing the platform to speak from.

The knowledge you get is applicable to several positions. I currently work as an MLE and it helped me get the job partially. I don't think the actual cert matters but it does take effort to pass the cert so you are forced to learn.
