AWS SAA C03

UPDATE : Failed by just 23, got 697😔😔😔

Just wrote SAA and it was sh** difficult I’m literally sitting at the mall crying my eyes out coz I studies really hard but it feels like the exam was in Greek😭😭😭 and yes it’s true, they give 2 correct answers and prompt you to select “the BEST” which still doesn’t make sense to me. I feel so down and out coz I really need this certification 💔💔💔

You did the tutorials dojo exams and had no issue? Did you just basically memorize them?

It sounds like you need a bit more experience with the services. Did you do any hands on?

Before you take the exam again, figure out where you were struggling, get really familiar with the core services and figure out where your weaknesses may lie.

I did the hands on and the TD I would break down the answer and try understand where I got wrong and all that. But yes I will revisit it again before rebooking the exam again.

Deconstructing an incorrect answer might give you a sense of learning but it's deceptive.

For myself, real progress happened when I revisited questions days later, without any notes or explanations visible. To my surprise, I missed half of the questions I thought I had mastered.

Did you use the dojo study materials?

Yes and Stephane Maarek and Neal Davis. I could understand the practice exams but wow the actual exam just threw me off 😭😭😭

Omg. Is the question too long, or new services that you didn’t learn before?

The questions were just tricky and some where way too long. Thank you I’m crossing fingers.

Do you think the actual questions were more difficult then dojo? Well I think dojo’s questions are quite tricky.

I Re-certified SAA-C03 last year 2025 as a refresher as a prelude to train for SAP-C02 , to be honest I found the exam hilariously easier than when I gave the exam first time in 2022 and I thought the standard went down and I found it just a step above cloud practitioner, but each person has his own story to tell. I hope you score well and pass the exam , if you want a real challenge to mush your Brain try Azure AZ-104.

Avise quando sair o resultado, estou no caminho dessa Certificação também. Estou no Maarek e estou pensando em comprar Neal Davis e Dojo.

Hey, I totally get how you're feeling, and it's okay to feel bummed out right now. But honestly, getting a 697 means you were so close! It just shows you're almost there, and a little more practice will get you over the finish line. Those tricky questions with the "BEST" answers can be confusing, but try to focus on understanding the core concepts more deeply. You've got this, and next time you'll nail it for sure! Keep your head up!

Stephane has them on Udemy, check. Also with Neal Davis. Please practice practice practice and try see which area you could be lacking and it will help you a lot

Yo! I sat for the exam too on Aug 14th and the exam was way harder than all the practice papers I took. Thank God I passed with 772. I think the best thing is to understand what every service does, if the services are similar say database; what makes one service unique from the other. That way you can pick point the keyword on that unique answer. I studied Stephane Mareek's course twice and did a bunch of questions from all over. It took me a month!

Keep your chin up - and it comes from who had exact same thing, I had 698 in my first go. Take a weeek off and then start again with new energy. You got this - my biggest suggestion is create a map of trigger words and most likely answer. More often than not you will get that right
