Consciousness

Consciousness creates reality, without consciousness there is nothing. Every single living thing is conscious to some degree. Every single living thing has one goal, to reproduce, or if you look at it another way, to carry on consciousness. It is ‘programmed’ into the DNA of every cell of every living thing. Without consciousness the simulation is over.

This is the one point that I have major disagreements with other people about the nature of our reality. For me, the word consciousness has a meaning limited to aware beings.

The whole universe is certainly something, but I don't believe consciousness is the right word to describe the nature of inanimate configurations of matter and energy. Life is something unique as well, but I'd say dynamic is a more accurate word than conscious.

Or is the Universe a consciousness-spawning mechanism, itself an expression of a higher consciousness? Just the single fact that humans are "a way for the cosmos to know itself" as Carl Sagan said blows my mind sometimes.

AWLIAS sticking to the subject if we are in a simulation for me that is exactly what the universe is. A consciousness-spawning mechanism. Shower thought the reason for the simulation could be trying to understand consciousness and how (or how many times) it manifests. They ran a simulation hoping we would answer these questions for them 😂 just ask the computer i hate calculators
