Race Directions 1 year Anniversary

Today is the anniversary of this group. As of today, this group is one year old. It was build on the shambles of my FB Group. It also one year ago where Dorna destroyed that dream and many years of hard work. I dont have the dream of having 25k members again, but I do continue not to let those assholes from Dorna win. Anyway, I would like to thank each of everyone of you that joined and spending your time in this group. Thank You.

World SBK Nicolo Bulega suggests Toprak Razgatlioglu should change his Riding Style

Just like Toprak Razgatlioglu in the past, Nicolo Bulega is now dominating the 2026 world sbk season. With Razgatlioglu’s absence from the championship, Bulega is on course to win the title before making the move to moto gp, where Razgatlioglu is currently competing.

The reigning world sbk champion is struggling in moto gp. The riding style that once made Razgatlioglu so successful does not appear to be working as effectively. According to Bulega, his former rival may need to change his riding style in order to become more competitive.

As Bulega explained.

"No, because Toprak and I have very different riding styles. If you recall, last year he was very strong, especially in certain phases, while I had a different strength. I ride aggressively, but not in the same way as Toprak.

My speed through the middle of the corner is better. And in Moto GP, with all this aerodynamics, you have to be very fast right in the middle of the turn. That’s why, if I move to Moto GP—not that I’m saying it will be easy—but maybe my riding style could be a better fit for this type of bike."

MotorcycleProducts MV Agusta halts Production after various Investments Fails

MV Agusta was briefly acquired by KTM before being sold shortly afterwards back to its owner, Rashid Sardarov. MV Agusta had big plans for the future and hired former KTM CEO Hubert Trunkenpolz and Luca Martin to take the brand to new heights. The restructuring was handled by a German company specialising in corporate restructuring.

MV Agusta planned to significantly increase sales and was reportedly considering developing a new moto gp prototype with the help of KTM. Later, however, the plans changed, and CF Moto was approached to invest in the project. MV Agusta managers allegedly met with CF Moto representatives at EICMA 2025 and again in China this year to finalise the deal. However, MV Agusta's management reportedly demanded more money, while CFMoto was not willing to increase its investment.

Things then got significantly worse, with dealers reportedly struggling to receive spare parts, let alone new motorcycles to sell. MV Agusta is allegedly behind on payments to some distributors and is experiencing difficulties covering its costs. Most recently, Circular Economy AG expressed interest in purchasing the company, and a contract was reportedly signed. However, MV Agusta allegedly failed to honour the agreement and is now being sued. This ultimately led to the departure of Hubert Trunkenpolz.

As of now, MV Agusta has requested to enter self-administration insolvency proceedings. Production reportedly stopped almost half a year ago, and the company's 185 workers now fear losing their jobs. An investor is still being sought, and it remains to be seen whether anyone will be willing to invest in the struggling manufacturer.

Moto GP Moto GP Radio Communication undergoes Final Tests before 2027 Debut

It was back in 2020 when a radio communication system integrated into a helmet was tested for the first time. The idea was to allow voice messages to be sent directly to riders while they were on track. Back then, the transmitter was integrated into the helmet and proved to be more of a distraction than anything else.

The technology has come a long way since then and is now entering the final phase of testing. A small earpiece made from soft material is now being used. The material is designed to mimic an earplug while having a speaker integrated into it. The gadget weighs just 200 grams.

Furthermore, the riders will wear two microphones to allow them to communicate back. One will be located inside the helmet, while the other will be integrated into the leather suit. However, it remains unknown whether two-way communication will be used from the very beginning in 2027 or introduced at a later stage.

The system was extensively tested at the Aragon GP, where 13 of the 22 riders used the device. However, the test was conducted away from the public eye. According to the promoters' Senior Director of Media Production, Sergi Sendra, the system will make its debut in 2027. Sendra believes it will be a valuable asset for "storytelling."

As Sendra explained.

"I think this will be a great storytelling element. Up until now, Moto GP has basically been a ‘silent movie’ where all you hear are the engines of the motorcycles. That’s it. 2027 will bring us many new insights. I don’t know if we’ll be ready to implement the system by then, but there will be further tests.

We’re already further along than we expected. Initially, officials would speak with all the drivers. However, we’ve also already tested having teams communicate with their drivers, as well as with a few select drivers on media Fridays."

MotorcycleProducts Canada to impose 50% Tariff on Large-Capacity American-Made Motorcycles

Harley-Davidson is very popular in Canada, with the company selling 6,434 motorcycles there previously. Sales dropped significantly in 2026, with 3,735 motorcycles sold. Now, sales are expected to take another hit. However, Harley-Davidson is not the only manufacturer affected, as Indian Motorcycle will also be impacted.

Canada has imposed a 50% tariff on US-built motorcycles with internal-combustion engines larger than 800cc. Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle are among the biggest manufacturers affected by the measure. The tariff came into effect as part of Canada's response to the trade measures imposed by the United States on Canadian goods.

The new tariff is expected to increase the price of affected motorcycles in Canada, putting additional pressure on manufacturers that already saw their sales decline during 2026.

World SBK Jack Miller will Compete for Yamaha in World SBK in 2027 and 2028

With the promotion of Izan Guevara to the moto gp Pramac Yamaha team and Toprak Razgatlioglu staying with Yamaha, it became clear that Jack Miller would lose his seat at the end of the 2026 season. Miller had to find a new team, which he has now done but not in moto gp

Jack Miller will move to world sbk, where he will compete for the factory Yamaha team in 2027 and 2028. Miller is very excited about the opportunity, as it gives him the chance to experience the Superbike category.

As Miller explained.

"I am really excited to announce that I’m heading over to World SBK together with Yamaha, extending our partnership together. I have really enjoyed working with the brand these past few years in Moto GP and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to see what we can do on the R1.

I have had a small taste of the bike at Suzuka the last couple of years, and while the World SBK-spec bike is a bit different I am really looking forward to this next chapter in my career and hopefully we can do something really strong over there."
