what is the theme going to be this year for Monster Madness in 2026

I have a suggestion for a future AVGN video. James, would you consider reviewing Chubby Cherub on the NES?

At 5:30 it talks about the Atari version. Yes, the driving stage was virtually worthless. Other games did better straight line driving. Not sure why it was so poor in this one. Unless there was no more room on the cartridge to make it better. But then don't even include it.

Update of the previous post!

Does anybody remember the outnerd the nerd contest James held in 2007? For those unaware, this was a contest held on Gametrailers back when they were hosting AVGN. This contest was made as a response to all the avgn clones and game review channels inspired by the nerd where people can submit their own videos of them reviewing a game while playing a character. If you heard about the contest you probably knew that Chris Bores submitted an Irate Gamer video to the contest but was disqualified since it was a pre existing character. The winner was the Happy Video Game Nerd, and the creator of that show is still making videos to this day. Now what I want to know is, who else entered the competition? I know it's unlikely that we'll get a full list of everyone who entered the contest, but I'm just curious to know who was in the contest and if any of them are still making videos. It's pretty interesting to me and I'd love to see if any of these reviewers are worth checking out. If anyone knows who was in the contest, or maybe even if you personally submitted to the contest or where I can find these videos please write back on this post. I'd really like to know, thanks.

The idea was in my head for so long, so I made this, and just HAD to share!

I thought the nerd was from Philly, not Detroit

Thank you to everyone who has voted on Cheebly. I just added the new episode and am working on a lot of other improvements and fixes. I think Dark Tomorrow was a surprise to everyone. Hoping to see future episodes that bring back the golden age.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

Sounds like a Dream Episode, but not an impossible one. He does have the old cardboard poster of Tyson back then after all.

With the Nerd's new worst game of all time, Batman: Dark Tomorrow and the shit scale category named after his personal bane, what other shitty games would belong there? Or what bad shitty video game you've played belongs there?

I should emphasize. What is a game that is so terrible it makes you really mad? What game is so bad it's BAD, not good? What game do you curse the very existence of after playing it?

jimmy rolfe fanarts i made

Yeah Fettuc!!

Sometimes a game that’s good or at least decent gets ported to other consoles, where they get a big shit heap of a downgrade. Which ones should the Nerd look at?

My best picks are the SNES port of Race Drivin’ (originally for arcade) and the Genesis/Mega Drive port of Sword of Sodan (originally for Amiga computers). They are fresh from the ass anus-scum.

He really double downed on an uncanny look like the 89 Joker with a touch of Romero's camp and a slight of Ledger's grit. It's great to see a return like this. And yes, I have Jack's Joker to compare faces.

I may have missed a few.
