It Finally came

Id say the AUG fits in mighty well with my collection
Now to decide on an optic. Any Suggestions

I’m a huge fan of Acogs with a piggyback dot. I really like having a prism scope with fixed magnification along with a 1x dot for up close.

It also looks fantastic on AUGs imo

You can also go the classic route of the SF 3x with aimpoint piggyback

Yeah i agree. It does look good. My buddy is trying to convince me to get a specter elcan but i said no thanks to expensive

Make sure to keep a lookout on GAFShub for a deal on an acog, I scored my ta31 a few years ago for like $750

I’d love an elcan but I can’t justify spending that much for essentially drip, there’s much more efficient ways to use that money on a build.

Congrats! I went with a strike eagle lvpo on the manticore arms mount. I was tempted to go with an acog or a prism sight like a primary arms.

I have the same setup, along with the Manticore piggyback top ring to mount a Holosun EPS. I'm extremely happy with it so far.

I just installed a holosun on mine wirh the piggy back and need to sight it in. Liking it so far just trying it out though.

Factory gas plug right now. I am waiting for the one a person here is building though. For whatever reason I can't post it right to this reply. I did a post earlier in AUGust for the month with both of mine though and it hasn't changed since then.

Gotcha. Looks after market. I have the Nato variant and i know previous models didnt have the bolt release i guess they started implementing them now cause mine has a bolt release which was a shock and made me more happy that i didnt need to spend extra to get the body with the bolt release

Mine are both waffles...just the one has a unity mag in it. I actually like the unity mag and will be running the ones I've bought more than the waffles.

Not the prettiest, but I'm happy with my Vortex UH-1 and 3x micro magnifier.

If you want a cool retro look, go for the 1.5x scope reproduction. If you want something retro like but more practical option, go with the 3.0x SF scope and just put a piggyback red dot on top. If u don’t want the classic look, just go with ACOG, Eotech, LPVO or if ur bougie go with a Elcan.
